WHAT'S LOCAL ROCK? It's just a series of shows that we are dedicated to throwing @ The Ohio City Temple. Local Bands helping a Local Charity turn a profit. It's a beautiful thing! Aaaand, since you were probably going to see a show anyway... you can rest easy knowing that your $$ is going to a great cause. We're all about helping the Local Ladies who are dealing with the effects of Breast Cancer.

The venue is in its self, a reason to come to one of our shows. The Ohio City Temple is an old Masonic Temple and currently operates as a non-profit after school boxing center for local kids slash part-time event space. It's held everything from crazy Masonic rituals and initiations to MMA cage fights to a Boys from County Hell show. If we have anything to do with it, the Temple will become a Near West Side fixture. It's a place where bands can have complete control over what they play, how long they play, who they want to play with, and the general feel for the show. All we are interested in is keeping it cheap at the door and getting the opportunity to sling  booze for the benefit of WOO WHO. We hope to get as many new faces into the building as possible because, if nothing else, this place needs to be shown off. Check it out.

If you want to play a show at the Temple and support a good cause give us a holler. We are open to anything you have in mind.
